ODH was proud to be appointed to design and deliver a CAT A fit-out at 354-358 Oxford Street for a new high street luxury designer store. The scope of works included:

• Full Design & Build CAT A fit-out
• Installation of a VRF system across three floors, featuring 24 indoor units, risers within occupied areas, roof-mounted condensers, and control systems
• MVHR systems throughout the three floors, including risers, supply and extract ductwork, plenums, diffusers, and thermal insulation
• Fire-rated natural ventilation from basement to ground floor, including MSFDs, panels, and associated controls
• BCWS/domestic services and pumped above-ground drainage for the basement tea point and welfare areas, including the WC core with trace heating and insulation
• Adaptations to the basement RWP to accommodate the new staff area and product storage layout
• Installation of basement leak detection systems with associated panels and controls
• Comprehensive testing, commissioning, and disinfection

This was a highly successful project, delivered within the construction programme and to the client’s full satisfaction. A key factor in the project’s success was the experienced and conscientious site team, whose attention to detail and dedication ensured an outstanding result.

MECHANICAL UPGRADES TO OPERATING THEATRES & PRIVATE PATIENT ROOMS

ODH were appointed to design, supply, and install new mechanical pipework and a full airside package, including basement and rooftop AHUs, supply and extract ductwork, riser pipework modules, and fully equipped plant areas housing boilers and calorifiers.

The installation also included radiant ceiling panels and LST radiators throughout the facility.

Our scope encompassed full testing, commissioning, and witnessing of all systems.

The project delivered cutting-edge orthopaedic and general operating theatres on the first floor, complemented by a suite of private patient rooms across the remaining levels.

COMPREHENSIVE CUSTOMER FACILITY UPGRADES

ODH were responsible for upgrades to customer facilities at London City Airport.

Our scope included:

• Full design and refurbishment of Terminal WC cores.
• Validations and condition surveys.
• Mechanical modifications to existing primary and secondary ventilation, BCWS, HWS systems, and above-ground drainage.
• BMS adaptations and upgrades.
• New grilles and diffusers.
• Public health upgrades to WC cores and tea points.
• Thermal insulation and water treatment.
• Testing, commissioning and witnessing.

This was a particularly challenging project due to the nature of the site, being a busy operational airport.

Close attention was paid to all operatives working in and around the site, security clearance, and strategically coordinated material deliveries.

Through careful planning, highly detailed communication, and regular site visits, we were able to manage the project effectively.
